REST API Training / Consultation Services

Overview

Jama Software provides REST API Training and Consultation to equip teams with skills needed or offer guidance to develop their own custom scripts. 

Session is conducted with a Jama projects developer for unlimited participants alongside various resources and documentation. Any examples used for demonstration shall be provided in Java. All sessions are recorded and provided at the end of the session alongside all covered materials for your internal reference.

Prerequisites
These sessions are intended for technical resources and cover the Jama REST API but do not teach generalized API utilization nor a particular coding language. Participants unfamiliar with REST are recommend prior learning through other resources.

API Training [1 credit]
This training introduces customers to the Jama REST API with pre-set topics, core resources, and open Q&A time. 

API Training is provided in two parts:

• Self-guided materials (slides and videos).
• Live session covering API utilization demonstrations, general resources, and Q&A with a developer.

API Consultation [1 credit]
This session is for customers seeking technical guidance and best practice recommendation for their custom script developments. Consultation sessions are tailored to customer needs but does not include direct script development by Jama. Requesting customers will be provided a scoping document to define their technical guidance needs. 

API Training or prior Jama REST API experience is required as a prerequisite.
